Nerdberg Namebadge

a simple PCB namebadge for Nerdberg Hackspace members

Instructions

Solder the parts as shown here on the PCB:

  • Basics of SMD soldering: add solder to one pad on the PCB, then place part on the first pad while melting the solder with the soldering iron, then solder the rest pads of the part. See https://wiki.blinkyparts.com for general instructions
  • The LEDs leads do not need to be shortened, the longer lead is the positive anode. The positive pads for the LEDs are marked with a +
    • it makes sense to bend the LEDs before soldering
  • make sure to orient the battery holder the right way round, one edge is flattened to mark orientation
  • the switch can be oriented either way
